Distance Reiki
Reiki from a Distance? Let's Dig In!
Have you ever been curious about distance Reiki? If you're not familiar, distant Reiki is a form of energy healing that can be performed without the practitioner and recipient being in the same room. While it may sound a bit far-fetched, there are actually many people who believe in the power of distance Reiki. So, what's the story? Let's take a closer look.
How Does It Work?
The basic idea behind distance Reiki is that we are all connected by an unseen energy force. This force, known as "ki" or "chi," is said to flow through us and connect us to all living things. When our ki is out of balance, it can lead to physical, mental, and emotional problems. A Reiki practitioner can use their hands to help restore balance by channeling ki into the recipient's body.
There are different schools of thought on how distance Reiki works. Some people believe that the practitioner is actually sending ki to the recipient using their mind or intention. Others believe that ki exists everywhere and so the practitioner is simply helping the recipient access it. There is no right or wrong answer here; ultimately, it's up to each individual to decide what they believe.
Is There Scientific Evidence?
Unfortunately, there is no scientific evidence to support the claims made about distance Reiki. However, this doesn't mean that it isn't effective; there are many things in life that we can't explain with science but that doesn't make them any less real. If you're considering trying distance Reiki, the best way to know if it will work for you is to try it yourself and see how you feel afterwards.

Who can have it?
There are no medical contraindications for distance Reiki so it is suitable for everyone from toddler age to the elderly; even animals. When our own cat 'Jasper' was 17 a few years ago; he became ill and he actually climbed up onto Michelle's lap to receive Reiki. "I'm sure animals can draw it out of you" Michelle said to me at the time. He would also lie down on crystals we had on the floor; and i'm sure both of these helped him live another 4 years to the grand age of 21!
Any emotions, stress, or health issues can be supported and helped with distance Reiki healing.
