How To Use Crystals For Beginners

For centuries, Crystals have been revered for their beauty and uniqueness. These natural formations have been used in everything from jewelry to scared objects. But where do Crystals come from? And how do they form?

Most Crystals are formed underground, when water seeps into rocks and begins to cool. As the water cools, it begins to evaporate, leaving behind minerals that gradually build up into Crystals. The type of Crystal depends on the type of mineral that is left behind. For example, Quartz Crystals are made up of silicon dioxide, while Diamonds are made of carbon.

Crystals can also be formed when lava cools quickly. When lava cools rapidly, there is less time for Crystals to form. As a result, the lava forms a glassy material instead of crystals. This is how Obsidian and Peridot are formed.

So next time you see a beautiful crystal, remember that it took nature millions of years to create!
Crystals have been used for centuries for their healing properties. But if you're new to the world of Crystals, the prospect of picking out the right one can be daunting. Here's a beginner's guide to crystals:

There are many different types of Crystals, each with its own unique properties. Some Crystals are said to promote relaxation, while others are said to boost energy levels. Crystals are said to have different healing properties, depending on their type. For example, it is said that Quartz (A master healer) Crystals can help to relieve pain, while others believe that Amethyst crystals can help to reduce stress levels and calm us.

When choosing a crystal, it's important to consider what you hope to achieve with it. If you're looking for a relaxing crystal, try one that is known for its calming properties, such as Rose Quartz or Amethyst.
If you're hoping to boost your energy levels, try a crystal that is known for its energizing properties, such as Citrine or Carnelian.
And if you're simply looking for a pretty crystal to add to your collection, then go with whatever strikes your fancy!
Remember, there are no wrong choices when it comes to Crystals - ultimately, the best Crystal is the one that resonates with you on a personal level.
Beginners should start by familiarizing themselves with the most popular Crystals, such as Quartz, Amethyst, and Rose Quartz.
Once you have a few crystals in your collection, you can start experimenting with different ways to use them. For example, you can place crystals on your body during meditation or put them in your environment to create a more positive space. With a little practice, you'll be harnessing the power of crystals in no time.
When you first get a Crystal, hold it your hands; close your eyes and set your intention for it (if you want it to help with something).

We find one of the best things is to put a crystal in your pocket during the day; such as a Black crystal for protection from any sort of negativity.
Black Tourmaline, Black Obsidian or Shungite are some of the very best Crystals for this.
Maybe you feel a-little scatter brain and always struggle finishing tasks?
Sound like you?
Then Fluorite would be a great choice in this instance. It's actually one of Wayne's favorites here at Reiju, and he rarely takes his Fluorite bracelet off in the day.
Feel tired and need a pick me up?
Then Carnelian would be the one as this Crystal is known for it's energy and vitality properties.
Crystals are formed when minerals are compressed over millions of years. They come in all shapes and sizes, and each type of crystal has its own unique set of properties. For example, some crystals are said to promote healing, while others are believed to boost creativity or encourage Luck. There is a crystal for just about everything, so it's easy to find one that resonates with your specific needs or intentions.
There are three main types of crystals: tumbled, raw, and polished. Tumbled crystals are the most common type and have been smoothed down by machinery. Raw crystals are just as they sounds - crystals in their natural state. And polished crystals have been faceted and cut into specific shapes.

When it comes to using crystals, there are no hard and fast rules. However, many people like to cleanse their crystals before using them, as this helps to remove any negative energy that they may have picked up along the way.
One popular method of cleansing is to place your crystals in direct sunlight for a few hours. If there is no sun; or very little; worry not, just place them under running water for 10 -15 mins.  Once they've been cleansed, you can carry them with you in your purse or pocket, or display them in your home or office.
Just make sure to take good care of them - crystals are delicate and can break easily if they're dropped or mishandled.

With a little bit of practice, you'll be a crystals expert in no time!
